We keep your information safe and never sell it. Here's exactly what we collect and why.

1. Information We Collect

  • Contact form submissions: name, email address, and message content when you reach out to us via our contact form.
  • FAQ feedback votes: anonymous "helpful / not helpful" votes on FAQ questions. No personal data is linked to these votes.
  • Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may be retained by our hosting provider for security and analytics. We do not personally identify visitors from this data.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your questions and support requests submitted via the contact form.
  • To improve our FAQ content based on aggregated, anonymous helpfulness votes.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months to allow us to follow up on ongoing support requests. Anonymous FAQ feedback votes are retained indefinitely to maintain accurate helpfulness rankings.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Amazon: when you click "Shop on Amazon," you leave our site and are subject to Amazon's Privacy Policy.
  • DreamHost / Supabase: our hosting and database provider. Data is stored on servers in the United States.

5. California Residents (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect and how it is used.
  • Request deletion of personal information we hold about you.
  • Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal data).

6. European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) including the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Our site may use essential session cookies required for functionality.

8. Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
